Nissan Motor India Private Ltd (NMIPL) today reported its highest ever monthly sales in India with a record 5880 units sold in March
The March 2012 sales represent a massive 180% increase over the March 2011 figures of 2,101 units. It also outperforms Nissan’s previous monthly record achieved in February 2012 when 5,371 units were sold.

Nissan India registers 1005 nos total sales in July 2010

Nissan Motor India Private Ltd (NMIPL) today announced that it has registered total sales of 1005 nos for the month of July 2010. Out of the 1005 nos, the sales of the newly launched Nissan Micra were 928 units in July 2010. The Made-in-India new Nissan Micra built on the versatile V Platform was launched nationwide on July 14, 2010 and the start of sales commenced across the country from July 15, 2010 in a phased manner. Out of the remaining, Nissan Teana, the luxury sedan (CBU) clocked 27 nos and Nissan X-trail; the lifestyle SUV (CBU) registered sales of 50 units.
Nissan Micra crosses over 1000 confirmed pre-order bookings in 4 weeks

Nissan Motor Private Ltd (NMIPL) today announced that the pre-order booking of the soon to be launched Nissan Micra has crossed 1000 in just four weeks since the bookings began at the company showrooms from last week of May 2010. Nissan Micra has so far clocked 1049 pre-order bookings until closing hours of June 21, 2010. In the cities, Delhi leads the race closely followed by Bangalore, Ahmedabad, Mumbai and Chennai amongst others.
