With the opening of Lucky Nissan, Vijayawada; CI Nissan, Bhopal; Royal Nissan, Jaipur; Ananta Nissan, Bhubaneswar and Orion Nissan, Navi Mumbai, Nissan has 20 dealerships operational across the country. These dealerships also mark the automotive major's ability to reach commercial coverage in more than 46% of the national territory. Currently, 13 states of the country have Nissan dealerships.
Says Mr. Kiminobu Tokuyama, MD & CEO, NMIPL, "We had a short-term objective of establishing 20 dealerships by July 2010 and we are happy to state that we have been well on track with our plans. Going forward, we hope to continue our endeavour to increase our footprint and to provide total customer satisfaction with high-quality service standards."
In the process of establishing the Nissan Brand in India, NMIPL - in partnership with Hover Automotive India, its marketing, sales, after-sales service and dealer development arm - is rapidly preparing its dealer network structure to support the up-coming growth in the country. The company is aggressively expanding its dealership presence in key metroes and cities and hopes to have a total of more than 30 dealers by end of this fiscal year.
The new dealerships have a huge and spacious showroom facility with serviceable area to cater to customer’s need of quick and better service. Customer can see, touch, and feel the product in a comfortable ambience. The sales consultant and service team of all the dealerships in Vijayawada, Bhopal, Jaipur, Bhubaneswarand Navi Mumbai are trained personally by Hover and Nissan to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. The line of vehicle offered by NMIPL is Nissan Teana, Nissan X-Trail and Nissan 370Z. The recently launched Nissan first locally made global hatchback - New Nissan Micra will soon be displayed across these showrooms and customers can take a closer look at the car and make their bookings.
